Stretch Marks Removal

Although stretch marks are often associated with pregnancy, the truth is that whether you are a woman or a man, stretch marks can appear on any part of your body for a variety of reasons.

Stretch marks are usually the result of rapid stretching of the skin, which causes collagen and elastin fibers to break down. In addition, the epidermis, or outer layer of the skin, is stretched to a translucent thinness, allowing raised, reddish lesions to appear in the dermis. Stretch marks are scars that form after the dermis and epidermis have healed. Stretch marks can affect the upper arms and shoulders, stomach, chest, thighs or buttocks, and tend to be more noticeable when they develop later in life.

How are stretch Marks treated?

Using the Palomar® Lux 1540 fractional non-ablative skin resurfacing laser and micro needling, we provide the NDA-approved stretch mark treatment known as fractional skin resurfacing. Stretch marks are less noticeable and their unsightly color and texture are improved by the laser, giving you smoother, more attractive skin without any downtime.
